A series of vehicle break-ins are being investigated in the Cattle Scales Road area of Augusta County.
According to the Augusta County Sheriff’s Office, the incidents have taken place over the last few days during the overnight hours.
The Sheriff’s Office would like to remind residents to take precautions to avoid being a victim.
Increased patrols have been assigned to the area as ACSO officers continue to investigate these incidents.

- Lock all vehicles, even when parked in driveways or near the home
- Remove all valuables from vehicles, especially items visible from outside
- Report any suspicious activity or individuals to the Sheriff’s Office immediately
