An eagle-eyed reader wrote to me yesterday to ask about photos on the still-public Facebook page of convicted child murderer Candi Royer.

“Please can you look into why pictures of this child with visible signs of abuse are still on Candi Royer’s FB page?” the reader asked. “See her pics posted on Dec 26, 2020. Notice the injuries on Khaleesi’s ear and ankle. I still cannot fathom how and why didn’t family or friends do anything when they saw her post.”

Royer pleaded guilty to first-degree murder in the brutal 2021 torture killing of 3-year-old Khaleesi Cutthriel and was sentenced to life in prison.

Royer’s live-in boyfriend, Travis Brown, was also convicted of first-degree murder in the killing.

I reached out to Meta, the parent company of Facebook, to report that the page and photos of the murder victim with visible injuries are still online, and to inquire into the social-media giant’s policies regarding such matters.

Not surprisingly, I have not heard back from Meta, Facebook or anybody associated.

Note: I’m not linking to the Facebook page or broadcasting the photos, because my personal policy is, no, not interested in making money off that.

We’re writing about this to try to get Facebook to take the page down, as should have been done years ago.

They don’t have to respond to inquiries from Facebook users, from the media, and usually don’t.

Maybe this link living online can give somebody who works there enough of a sense of shame on behalf of mankind to quietly take this monster’s page and these photos down.
